Amaya Crews

Amaya’s love of skating began when she attended an ice skating birthday party at the SportsPlex at the age of five. Next month Amaya will turn 12 years old, and doesn’t see an end in sight!  She has learned many skills, earned dozens medals at competitions and has made great friends along the way.  “I love the freedom I feel when I am on the ice.  The best feeling is finally accomplishing a skill that I’ve worked on for weeks or even months.”  All that hard work paid off last January when Amaya was selected to participate in Opening Ceremonies at the 2015 U.S. Figure Skating National Championships.
