We believe in the health and fitness for the whole family… that
includes the kids!
Classes and activites are offered for all age groups.
If kids are involved in heart-healthy activites at a young age, they
are more likely to continue exercising as they grow older. For the older
athletes, we offer classes and opportunities for them to get introduced
to the concepts of sport specific and strength training.
Kids-N-Motion

Mondays, 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm and Wednesdays
from 1:00-1:45am

Kids-N-Motion
This is a fun class that helps preschool kids
learn balance, hand-eye coordination, and some basic tumbling
skills. Participants must be toilet-trained and parents are strongly
encouraged to use this time to work out in the Fitness Center
so the kids won't be distracted!

Toddle Tumble Together
A class of parents and toddlers to work out
together. We focus on balance, hand-eye coordination, rhythm,
timing, and fun! Open to children 16 months to 3 years old and
their parents.
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00 am - 11:45 am in
Multi-Purpose Room 1.

Student Athlete
Program
We restrict access to the weight room and the
cardio corner to provide our members with a relaxing, appropriate
environment
to work out.
However, we realize that some kids under the age of 16 can benefit
from a strength training/cardio program, so we developed the
Student Athlete Program.
To participate in this
program, the teen in question must be a member of the SportsPlex.
The parent needs to stop by the front desk and
ask for
a student athlete form. Fill out the form and return it to the front
desk—a
Trainer will call you to set up an orientation with you and your Athlete.
You
must agree to be a workout partner with your teen and to come
during non-peak hours.
The trainer will set up a program based on the athlete's sport,
development, and size. You, as a parent, must be with the athlete
at all times. We take our young athletes' potential and health
very
seriously and it is within our rights to deny access to the facility
if we feel the teen is not yet ready. Teens must at least be
fourteen
years old to apply.
