How many hours a day do you train? 5 hours on the ice, 4 hours off the ice.

 

What special awards have you received outside of skating? NC Governer's School for Dance in the Summer of 2004.

 

What is your proudest moment in skating? My second place at regionals in 2003.

 

What other interests or hobbies do you have? Dancing and acting.

 

What aspect of skating gives you the most satisfaction? Jumping.

 

Who has had the greatest impact on your skating career? My friends -- if you don't have anybody to have fun with, why do it?

 

What people do you admire the most and why? Michelle Kwan and Irina Slutskya for their dedication to the sport.

 

Are any other members of your family involved in competitive sports? My brother Derek played hockey for 10 years and played high school football.

 

What goals do you have for the 2004-2005 figure skating season? Pass novice moves & juvenile free & skate up in intermediate.

 

What are your long term goals? Pass all my tests by high school graduation and possibly skate in college—and after.

 

What do you plan to study in college? I hope to double major in athletic training and dance.

 

"If I weren't a skater, I would be...": ...a dancer, because that is my other passion.
