Old and New Faces at the 'Plex

Vicky Wilson, our Assistant General Manager, is certainly one of the "older" faces at the 'Plex.  She joined the management team over four years ago and was charged with developing programs for children, the KidsPlex and TeenPlex.

Now, Vicky oversees the day to day operations at the Plex.  She is the on-site General Manager when our Managing Director, John Stock, is away from the facility.  Vicky continues to direct the kids' programs as well as supporting the other program areas.

A new face at the Plex is Penney Duddy, our Snack Bar Manager.  Penney hit the ground running when she arrived here earlier in September.  This is no surprise as Penney has a long history in the food service industry.  Her luncheonette in New Jersey thrived for fifteen years and her restaurant in Canada was considered the local "hot spot".

Vicky is not a new face to North Carolina.  She was "born a bred" here although she has taught and directed programs in the Northeast and Midwest.  When Vicky returned home, she had a seven year stint as a director at the Duke School in Durham.  Penney is new to NC, moving here from Canada.

How did Penney end up in North Carolina?  Her husband, Hart, accepted the head coaching position with a Junior Hockey team, the East Coast Eagles.  You know the rest of the story and yes, Penney loves hockey and cooking!

Both Vicky and Penney are pros at customer service.  Penney will always serve you with a smile and would love to make you one of her famous Triple Decker Clubs or cater your special event.  Vicky is usually found out and about at the Plex and has an open door policy.

Whether you are an "old" or new face at the Plex, let Vicky and Penney know your needs.
